Atlantic County Rev. War Pension Applications Available Now!

Society Librarian, Rev. Norman Goos, Past President NJSSAR, presented “Revolutionary War Pension Records Atlantic & Ocean County” at the June meeting of the Col. Richard Somers Chapter, NJSSAR.

Norman shared insights from the Atlantic County Historical Society’s America 250 Rev War project, developed in partnership with Somers chapter and the Gen. Lafayette NSDAR chapter members. This initiative has grown from 15 to 42 Revolutionary War Pension Applications, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers. These records, covering patriots who lived in what is now Atlantic County, NJ, enrich our understanding of their sacrifices between 1775 and 1783.
