Where did you grow up? Who is your family? Did any of your family members also serve? How did you become interested in serving?
How did you enter the service? Why did you choose your branch? What was your training like? Did you have any specialized training? How did you adapt?
- Your Time in Active Duty:
Where did you serve? How did you get there? Are there any memorable moments that you want to share? Were you relocated? Did you form any friendships? What were your duties? What did you do in your free time?
- Completion of Your Service:
How did your time in service end? What was your readjustment to civilian life like? What did you do afterwards?
How has your service impacted you? What lessons did you learn? Do you have any advice? What would you say to someone who was considering enlisting?
If you’d like to provide photos or other documents from your time in service, please bring those items at the time of your interview for us to copy.
